Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using txinsuranceforyou.com or requesting any services from Texas Insurance for You. By accessing this website, completing a form, or scheduling a consultation, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. SERVICES WE PROVIDE

Texas Insurance for You provides independent insurance brokerage services, including:

  • Medicare plan consultation, comparison, and enrollment assistance

  • ACA marketplace health insurance consultation and enrollment assistance

  • Individual and family health insurance consultation

  • Life insurance, long-term care, disability, dental, vision, and ancillary product consultation

  • Medicare advocacy and coverage problem assistance

  • Medicare eligibility and Special Enrollment Period guidance

All services are provided by Charles "Choco" Valdez, a licensed insurance broker in the state of Texas.

3. WHAT OUR SERVICES ARE NOT

Our services do not constitute:

  • Legal advice — we are not attorneys

  • Medical advice — we are not healthcare providers

  • Financial planning advice — we are not licensed financial advisors

  • A guarantee of coverage, eligibility, or enrollment

  • A guarantee of specific premium amounts — final premiums are determined by carriers

  • Government services — we are not affiliated with Medicare, CMS, or any government agency

4. INDEPENDENT BROKER DISCLOSURE

Charles "Choco" Valdez is an independent insurance broker who represents multiple insurance carriers. As a broker we may receive compensation from insurance companies when you enroll in a plan through our assistance. This compensation is paid by the insurance company and does not increase the premium you pay. Your premium is the same whether you enroll through a broker or directly through the plan.

We represent the following carriers among others for Medicare products: Healthspring (Cigna), United Healthcare, Humana, Aetna, Mutual of Omaha, Manhattan Life, Bankers Fidelity Life, and Baylor Scott & White Health Plans. We do not offer every plan available in your area.

5. REQUIRED MEDICARE DISCLOSURES

TPMO Disclosure (Required by Federal Law): We do not offer every plan available in your area. Currently we represent 4 organizations that offer 56 products in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov, call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227), or contact your local State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) to get information on all of your options.

Government Non-Endorsement: Charles "Choco" Valdez is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. government or the Medicare program. Use of the Medicare name on this website is for informational purposes only.

Scope of Appointment: Federal Medicare rules require a signed Scope of Appointment before any Medicare plan options are discussed in an individual appointment. Completing a Scope of Appointment does not obligate you to enroll in any plan or affect your current Medicare enrollment.

Call Recording: All sales, marketing, and enrollment calls related to Medicare plans are recorded as required by federal Medicare marketing rules. By scheduling a Medicare consultation you consent to call recording.

Compensation Disclosure: Charles "Choco" Valdez may be paid based on your enrollment in a Medicare plan. This does not affect the premium you pay.

6. NO OBLIGATION TO ENROLL

Visiting this website, completing a form, scheduling a consultation, signing a Scope of Appointment, or receiving a quote does not obligate you to enroll in any insurance plan. You may cancel or reschedule any appointment at any time without penalty. You are under no pressure to make any decision during or after any consultation.

7. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

We make every effort to ensure that information on this website is accurate and current. However:

  • Medicare costs, plan availability, and program rules change annually

  • Plan premiums and benefits displayed through quoting tools are estimates and subject to change

  • Final premiums are determined by carriers and the marketplace

  • Special Enrollment Period eligibility must be verified individually

  • Subsidy and tax credit eligibility is determined by the marketplace based on verified income and household information

8. PPO PLAN NOTICE

PPO plans are not available in the Texas individual and family health insurance market. If you were offered a PPO plan for individual or family coverage in Texas by any agent or company, contact us before signing anything. Some products are marketed using PPO language that does not accurately describe the coverage being offered. This is a known issue in the Texas market and we will give you a straight answer at no cost.

9. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS

Your use of these platforms is subject to their own terms of use and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, security, or availability of third-party platforms.

18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
